You will visit three Buddhist cities Bomdila, Tawang & Dirang nestled in the foothill of North Eastern Himalaya. Drive though the scenic route on the bank of river, crossing the pass and tribal villages. These destinations are accessible round the year and the weather is quite pleasant. Itinerary

Day 1: Tezpur - Bomdila (154kms)

On arrival at Tezpur airport meet your driver, assistance and proceed to Bomdila. Check in at guest house and Rest time free to relax. Dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 2: Bomdila - Tawang (180kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Bomdila Monastery believed to be an exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery in Tibet belonging to Mahayana Buddhism. Next visit Bomdila View Point where you will found clouds kissing the ground, the massive Himalayas towering all around and the panoramic view of the Kemeng Valley. Later drive to Tawang check in at hotel. Lunch, dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 3: Tawang

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tawang Monastery the largest monastery in India and second largest in the world after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. Urgelling Gompa believed to be the birthplace of his Holiness 6th Dalai Lama. Tawang War Memorial a huge 40 feet high structure, resembling a stupa built in loving memories of Indian soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for the country during Indo-Sino war. Lunch, dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 4: Tawang - Dirang (140kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Dirang on way visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Also experience the beauty of Sella Lake at Sella Pass. Arrive Dirang check in at hotel. Later visit Dirang Dzong a 500 years old fort. You can get an excellent view of Dirang valley & surrounding area from here. Also visit a Hot Water Spring. Lunch, dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 5: Dirang - Tezpur (190kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Tezpur the beautiful historical town known for its ancient temples and ruins. Arrive and check in at hotel. Visit Agnigarh, one of the most mythical fortresses in Tezpur believed to have been surrounded by fire. Bamuni Hills that has sculptures that go back to the 9th century. Da-Parbatia which has doorframes that date back to 600 AD and has critical cultural and historical value. Lunch, dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 6: Tezpur - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
