Bhopal to Delhi Ancient Monuments & Mughal Architecture tour will begin with pick up from Bhopal airport. Explore the historical sites of Bhopal & its wetland. Embark on an excursion to visit the ancient Bhimbetka Caves, Bhojpur Temples, Sanchi Buddhist Stupas & Udayagiri Caves tour from here. Then board the Shatabdi train to Agra to see the famous Taj Mahal and other Mughal monuments. From here drive to Delhi and the historical capital city of India dotted with many Mughals monuments & colonial l buildings. Most of the monuments you will visit on this tour are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bhopal

On arrival at Bhopal airport assistance & transfer to hotel. Later city tour of Bhopal. Visit historic mosques Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid & Taj ul Masjid and the arts center in Bharat Bhawan. Evening boat ride in Upper Lake. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Bhopal

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to visit Bhimbetka rock shelters an archeological site dating back to the Paleolithic age inhabited by the homo erectus more than 100,000 years ago. Next visit Bhojpur Shiva Temple. Drive back to Bhopal. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Bhopal

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to visit Sanchi Budhist stupas, monasteries, temples & pillars dating from 3rd century BC to 12th century AD. And Udayagiri Caves. Drive back to Bhopal. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Bhopal - Agra (Satabdi Train 1515/ 2111hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning visit Bhoj Wetland a home to diverse flora & fauna including many waterbirds. Later transfer to railway station to board train for Agra. On arrival at Agra railway station assistance and transfer to hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Agra - Delhi (210kms)

Sunrise visit Taj Mahal an ivory-white marble mausoleum built in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal & himself. Breakfast at hotel. Viit Agra Fort the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 & Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Later drive to Delhi, check in at hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Delhi visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar & Lotus Temple. Also drive pass President House, Parliament & India Gate etc. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: Delhi - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
