On arrival at Varanasi airport, assistance will be provided for transfer to the hotel. In the evening, attend the Holy Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ritual at sunset on the Ganges, where priests chant holy mantras and perform a divine ceremony with large brass lamps. Overnight at the hotel.
Begin the day with an early morning boat ride on the Ganges, experiencing the spiritual atmosphere as devotees bathe and pray along the 88 ghats of Varanasi. Visit Banaras Hindu University, the largest residential university in Asia, spread over 5.3 square kilometers with 30,000 students. Explore Bharat Mata Temple, built in 1936, which houses a unique relief map of undivided India carved from marble. Visit Tulsi Manas Mandir, adorned with verses from the Ramcharitmanas, and featuring beautiful images of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman. Continue to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, and visit the Dhamekh Stupa and Ashoka Pillar. If time permits, explore Ramnagar Fort on the eastern bank of the Ganges, home to a museum with royal collections, including vintage cars, swords, and an astrological clock. Overnight at the hotel.
