Itinerary

Day 1: Hubli - Hampi (180kms)

Pick up from Hubli airport and drive to Hampi. Visit Gadag temples, renowned for their intricate Chalukyan architecture, including the Trikuteshwara Temple complex, famous for its triple shrines dedicated to Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu. Explore Lakkundi, an ancient village known for its Jain temples, stepwells, and remarkable sculptures like the Brahma Jinalaya, showcasing the grandeur of the Kalyani Chalukyas. Arrive in Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Hampi

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Hazara Rama Temple, adorned with exquisite bas-reliefs depicting the Ramayana and scenes of daily life from the Vijayanagara Empire. See the Kings Balance, an ancient weighing scale where kings were weighed against gold and precious stones during festivals, which were then distributed to the poor. Explore Mahanavami Dibba, a massive platform from which the Vijayanagara kings viewed processions, celebrations, and military parades during the Dasara festival. Day 3: Hampi - Badami (140kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Badami, en route visit the Tungabhadra Dam, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and a glimpse into the engineering marvels of the 20th century. Arrive in Badami and check in at the hotel. Visit the Badami Cave Temples, a complex of four rock-cut caves carved into a cliff face, showcasing exquisite sculptures of Hindu deities, including Lord Shiva, Vishnu, and Jain Tirthankaras. Explore Badami Fort, perched on a hilltop, offering stunning views of the town and the surrounding red sandstone cliffs. The fort houses ancient temples, granaries, and the ruins of a treasury. Day 4: Badami

Visit Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a harmonious blend of Dravidian and Nagara styles of temple architecture, with the Virupaksha Temple being the most prominent. Return to Badami and revisit the Cave Temples to explore more details, such as the third cave dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which features a large sculpture of the Varaha and Trivikrama avatars. Explore the Bhutanatha Group of Temples, located on the banks of Agastya Lake, known for their tranquil setting and reflection in the water. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Badami - Anshi National Park (225kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Anshi National Park (Kali Tiger Reserve) through the scenic Western Ghats, arriving at the resort for check-in. Enjoy a jeep safari in the park, exploring the rich biodiversity, including tigers, black panthers, elephants, and various species of birds, in the dense forests and riverine ecosystems. Day 6: Anshi National Park - Goa (140kms)

Optionally, experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Kali River, navigating through challenging rapids amid stunning scenery. Day 7: Goa
