Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport, receive assistance and transfer to the hotel (check-in/out time 12pm). Enjoy free time to relax and engage in personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your city tour of Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, a massive 17th-century Mughal fortification with stunning red sandstone walls, which served as the Mughal emperor's residence for nearly 200 years. Explore Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world, built by Shah Jahan, featuring an expansive courtyard and grand architecture. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, a bustling market area, and visit Khari Baoli Spice Market, renowned for its vibrant spice trade and lively atmosphere. Pay respects at Raj Gath, the memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination, reflecting a significant historical site. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the first garden-tomb in India, showcasing early Mughal architecture commissioned by Empress Bega Begum. Admire Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, part of the Qutb complex and an excellent example of Afghan architecture. Day 3: Delhi - Agra (210kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Agra and check in at the hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal, an exquisite ivory-white marble mausoleum commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and intricate craftsmanship. Explore Agra Fort, a grand red sandstone fort which served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, featuring impressive structures and historical significance. See Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb, also known as the "Baby Taj," commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, with delicate marble inlay work and beautifully landscaped gardens. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (245kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route, a magnificent abandoned city built predominantly of red sandstone, known for its elegant structures including the Diwan-E-Khas hall, Jodha Bai Palace, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal, and the imposing Buland Darwaza. Visit Abhaneri, a small village famous for its stunning Chand Baori stepwell, one of India’s deepest and largest, and its ancient Hindu Temple, showcasing intricate carvings and historical significance. Continue your drive to Jaipur and check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the vibrant local market of the Pink City, known for its rich cultural heritage and bustling shopping streets. Day 5: Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Start your city tour of Jaipur, the first planned city of India established in 1727 by Jai Singh II. Visit Amber Fort, a majestic hilltop fort with stunning palaces and panoramic views, showcasing the grandeur of Rajput architecture. Explore Jaigarh Fort, renowned for its massive cannon and strategic location, providing impressive views of the surrounding landscape and Amber Fort. Visit the Observatory (Jantar Mantar), an astronomical marvel with large instruments used for celestial observations and timekeeping. Later, drive back to Delhi and transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight.
