Itinerary

Day 1: Hubli - Hampi (180kms)

Pick up from Hubli airport and drive to Hampi. Visit Trikuteshwara Temple in Gadag, known for its intricate carvings and historical significance. Explore the ruined temples of Gadag, showcasing ancient architectural styles. Stop at Lakkundi to see Mallikarjuna Temple, renowned for its intricate carvings, and Virabhadra Temple, a classic example of Chalukyan architecture. Visit Manikeshwara, Nanneshwara, Lakshminarayana, Someshwara, and Nilakanteshwara temples, each notable for their unique design and historical value. Continue to Hampi, check in at the hotel, and relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Hampi

Breakfast at hotel. Tour Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with impressive ruins from the Vijayanagara Empire. Visit Hazara Rama Temple, famous for its elaborate carvings depicting scenes from the Ramayana. See the King's Balance, used for weighing the king and important items. Explore Asar Mahal, an ancient palace with an open pavilion for court proceedings. See Bara Kaman, an unfinished monument intended as a grand tomb. Admire Gol Gumbaz, famous for its massive dome and excellent acoustics. Visit Jama Masjid, an elegant mosque with intricate carvings and spacious courtyards. Day 4: Bijapur - Badami (120kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Badami and check in at hotel. Excursion to Aihole, known for its numerous Chalukyan temples from the 6th to 12th centuries. Visit Durga Temple, renowned for its unique architecture and intricate carvings. Explore Lad Khan Temple, an early example of Chalukyan temple architecture. See Ravanaphadi Cave Temples, ancient rock-cut temples with significant historical value. Discover Huchimalli Temple, with its well-preserved ruins and intricate designs. Visit Meganagudi group, known for its small but historically significant temples. Explore Gowda Temple and Huchappayyagudi Temple, each notable for their unique architectural styles. Continue to Pattadakal to view its 7th and 8th-century Hindu and Jain temple complexes. Return to Badami to visit the cave temples, renowned for their rock-cut architecture. Explore Badami Fort, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Relax by Agastya Lake, a serene spot ideal for relaxation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Badami - Anshi National Park (225kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Anshi National Park (Kali Tiger Reserve) and check in at resort. Enjoy a jeep safari in the park, located amidst the Western Ghats and home to diverse wildlife including tigers, leopards, and endemic birds. Experience the lush vegetation and scenic views along the Kali River that flows through the park. Optionally, engage in white-water rafting on the Kali River, offering an adventurous experience with rapids up to grade 3. Return to the resort for lunch, dinner, and relaxation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Anshi National Park - Hubli Airport (130kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Take a morning jeep safari in the national park for another chance to spot wildlife. Optionally, enjoy white-water rafting on the Kali River if not done previously. Transfer to Hubli airport according to your flight schedule. Board your flight for onward destination.
