Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Hyderabad

Upon your arrival at Hyderabad airport, you will be assisted with your transfer to the hotel, where you can check in and settle into your room. The rest of the day is free for you to relax, or you may choose to take a leisurely walk around the city to get a feel for its vibrant atmosphere, exploring local markets and trying out some of the famous Hyderabad cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Hyderabad

After breakfast at the hotel, delve into the rich history of Hyderabad, a 400-year-old metropolitan city known for its bustling bazaars and remarkable Muslim monuments. Start your exploration at the Golconda Fort Complex, a magnificent fortress with a history dating back to the medieval period, renowned for its acoustics, palaces, and mosques. Visit the Qutubshahi Tombs, where the rulers of the Qutub Shahi dynasty are buried, offering a glimpse into the architectural grandeur of that era. Continue to the iconic Charminar, Hyderabad's most famous landmark, surrounded by the vibrant Laad Bazaar, where you can shop for bangles and other traditional items. Nearby, visit the Mecca Mosque, one of the largest mosques in India, built with bricks made from soil brought from Mecca. Day 3: Hyderabad - Nanded (305kms)

After breakfast, begin your drive to Nanded, making a stop at Bidar, a historic city known for its rich heritage and architectural wonders. Visit Bidar Fort, a massive fortification with intricate designs and impressive structures, including palaces and mosques. Explore the Mahmud Gawan Madarsa, a striking example of Islamic architecture and an important center of learning during the Bahmani Sultanate. Visit the Bahmani Tombs, where the rulers of the Bahmani dynasty are buried, featuring intricate Persian and Indian architectural elements. Continue to Narasimha Jhira, a unique temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha, located in a cave through which devotees must wade through waist-deep water. Day 4: Nanded - Aurangabad (265kms)

After breakfast, visit the Hazur Sahib Gurudwara, one of the five takhts in Sikhism, built on the site where Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru, left his earthly life. The inner sanctum, known as Angitha Sahib, marks the Guru's cremation site, and the gurudwara is a significant pilgrimage destination for Sikhs. After your visit, drive to Aurangabad, stopping en route to visit Aundha Nagnath Temple, also known as Nageshwaram Temple, a revered Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva, built in the 13th century by the Seuna (Yadava) dynasty. Continue your journey to Aurangabad, where you will check in at your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Aurangabad

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an excursion to the magnificent Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring 34 rock-cut monasteries and temples dating back from 600 to 1000 AD, showcasing a blend of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain religious art. Visit the nearby Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, and an important pilgrimage site for Hindus.
