Itinerary

Day 1: Kullu - Manali (125kms)

On arrival at Kullu airport, meet your driver and guide. Visit the Kullu Valley, a picturesque region with lush greenery, serene river streams, and a blissful climate. Proceed to Manikaran, a famous pilgrimage destination for Sikhs and Hindus, known for its hot springs and the Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib, believed to have healing properties. Visit the ancient Shiva Temple in Manikaran, renowned for its unique architecture and religious significance. After sightseeing, drive to Manali and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Manali

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Hidimba Devi Temple, an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, a character from the Indian epic Mahabharata, surrounded by cedar forests. Explore Manu Temple, dedicated to Sage Manu, believed to be the creator of the world according to Hindu mythology. Visit Vashisht Village, known for its hot water springs and temples dedicated to Vashisht Muni and Lord Rama. Visit Solang Valley, a haven for adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush greenery. Drive back to Manali and enjoy free time to relax and visit The Mall. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Manali - Shimla (250kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Shimla, en route visit the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to diverse flora and fauna. Continue the journey to Shimla and check in at the hotel. Enjoy free time to relax and explore The Mall, Shimla's main shopping street with colonial-era architecture. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Shimla

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit The Ridge, a wide open street adjacent to The Mall, offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and hosting various cultural events. Explore The Mall, ideal for shopping and dining, and visit the Christ Church, the second oldest church in North India, known for its neo-Gothic architecture. Visit Jakhoo Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to the monkey god Hanuman, located on Jakhoo Hill, the highest peak in Shimla. Discover the State Museum, home to excellent paintings, handicrafts, textiles, and stone carvings, showcasing Himachal Pradesh's rich cultural heritage. Walk through the Viceregal Lodge, a historic building that once served as the summer residence of the British Viceroy of India. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Shimla

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Chail, known for its salubrious beauty and virgin forests. Visit the Chail Palace, a majestic structure set in serene surroundings. Explore Kufri, often referred to as the Switzerland of the East, known for its breathtaking views, stunning locales, and tranquil surroundings. Visit the Himalayan Nature Park, home to diverse Himalayan wildlife. Back to Shimla and rest time for personal activities. Visit the Tara Devi Temple, located on Tara Devi Hill, offering panoramic views of Shimla and the surrounding mountains. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Shimla - toy train to Chandigarh - Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Shimla railway station to board the toy train to Kalka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering one of India’s most incredible feats of engineering with 102 tunnels, 864 bridges, and 919 curves in just a 60-mile journey. En route, enjoy picturesque views of the hills and valleys, passing through quaint hill stations and scenic landscapes. Transfer from Kalka railway station to Chandigarh airport to board a flight to Delhi. A vehicle will be provided in Delhi for transit use before boarding your departure flight.
