Pick up from your hotel at 9 AM. Begin your city tour with a visit to Fort William. This grand fort, built during the early Bengal Presidency of British India, spans over 70.9 hectares on the eastern banks of the River Hooghly. Its imposing structure and historical significance make it one of Kolkata’s most enduring Raj-era edifices.

Proceed to Victoria Memorial. This magnificent white marble monument, surrounded by expansive gardens, was dedicated to Queen Victoria. The memorial houses a museum showcasing royal dresses, historical artifacts, and weaponry from the British era, set against a backdrop of lush, meticulously landscaped grounds.

Next, visit Netaji Bhawan. This historic residence, maintained as a memorial to the Indian nationalist leader Subhas Chandra Bose, includes a museum, archives, and library. The building, constructed by Bose’s father in 1909, provides an in-depth look at Bose’s role in India’s struggle for independence and his significant contributions.
