Day 1: Hubli - Badami (140kms)

Pick up from Hubli airport and drive to Badami, stopping at Trikuteshwara in Gadag to admire its ancient architecture and historical significance. Visit the ruined temples in Gadag, showcasing intricate carvings and architectural styles from various periods. Continue to Lakkundi to explore temples like Mallikarjuna, Virabhadra, Manikeshwara, Nanneshwara, Lakshminarayana, Someshwara, and Nilakanteshwara, known for their detailed sculptures and historical value. Arrive in Badami and check in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Badami

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Aihole, a historical site with over 125 Chalukyan temples from the 6th to 12th centuries. Key monuments include Durga Temple, known for its sculptural excellence; Lad Khan Temple, an early example of temple architecture; Ravanaphadi Cave Temples, featuring rock-cut carvings; Huchimalli Temple, showcasing ancient art; Meganagudi group, notable for its architectural style; Gowda Temple, known for its intricate design; and Huchappayyagudi Temple, with its historic significance. Return to Badami and explore the cave temples, known for their impressive rock-cut architecture and religious carvings. Visit Badami Fort, offering panoramic views and historical insights into the region’s past. Explore Agastya Lake, a serene water body surrounded by temples and natural beauty. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Badami - Anshi National Park (225kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Anshi National Park (Kali Tiger Reserve), known for its rich biodiversity and lush landscapes. Check in at the resort and enjoy the natural surroundings. Embark on a jeep safari through the park, which is located in the Western Ghats and is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, and elephants. The park also boasts diverse bird species, endemic plants, and reptiles. The park overlooks the Kali River, adding to its scenic beauty. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the resort, with views of the surrounding wilderness. Overnight at the resort.

Day 4: Anshi National Park - Hubli Airport (130kms)

Breakfast at the resort. Enjoy a morning jeep safari to experience more of the park’s wildlife and natural beauty. Optionally, partake in white water rafting on the Kali River, offering an adventurous experience with rapids up to grade 3. Explore additional activities in the park, such as nature walks or bird watching, to fully appreciate its unique features. Transfer to Hubli airport as per your flight schedule for your onward destination.
