Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel (Check-in/out time: 12 PM). Visit the majestic Red Fort, a grand fortress that served as the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years until 1857. Explore Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world, built by Shah Jahan. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and Khari Baoli Spice Market, experiencing vibrant markets filled with spices, dried fruits, and traditional sweets. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination. Discover Humayun's Tomb, the first garden-tomb in the Indian subcontinent and an early example of Mughal architecture. See Qutab Minar, a 73-meter tall minaret and a fine example of Afghan architecture. Admire the Lotus Temple, a Bahá'í House of Worship known for its flower-like shape. Drive past the President House, Parliament, and India Gate. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Srinagar

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue any remaining sightseeing in Delhi from Day 1 if necessary. Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Srinagar. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Enjoy an evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake, visiting floating vegetable gardens and experiencing the tranquil waters. Overnight at the hotel/houseboat.

Day 3: Srinagar

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Shalimar Bagh, the largest of the three Mughal Gardens in Srinagar, constructed by Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan in 1619. Explore Nishat Bagh, a stunning twelve-terraced garden with fountains, trees, and flowers, built by Asif Khan in 1633. Visit Chashma Shahi, a well-manicured triple-terraced garden showcasing Persian-style architecture, known for its natural spring. Stroll through Tulip Garden, the largest tulip garden in Asia, located in the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains with views of Dal Lake. Visit Shankaracharya Temple, a sacred temple dating back to 250 BC, offering breathtaking views of the valley from the hilltop. Overnight at the hotel/houseboat.

Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg (56kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Gulmarg, known as "The Meadow of Flowers," and check in at the hotel. At an altitude of 9,000 feet, Gulmarg is a beautiful mountain resort with the highest green golf course in the world. Enjoy a cable car ride on the Gondola, ascending to 13,000 feet for magnificent views of the Himalayan Mountains and Pir Panjal ranges. Optional activities include golf, horse riding, hiking, and snow skiing (at an additional cost). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Gulmarg - Pahalgam (142kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds," located 7,000 feet above sea level. On the way, visit the saffron-growing fields and the ancient Avantipur Temple, which dates back to the 9th century. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Pahalgam. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Pahalgam

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mamleshwara Temple, a stone temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, built by King Jayasima, featuring a shrine covered in gold. Explore Aru Valley, a base camp for treks to Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar-Marsar Lake, known for its scenic meadows and alpine lakes. Visit Betaab Valley, a picturesque valley surrounded by deodar trees and pine forests with the Lidder River flowing through it. Continue to Chandanwari Valley, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, known for its snow-covered landscapes. Visit Sheshnag Lake, a serene and picturesque lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains and alpine meadows, ideal for nature lovers. Rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Pahalgam. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Pahalgam - Srinagar (83kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Srinagar and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for personal activities or to explore Srinagar at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel/houseboat.

Day 8: Srinagar - Delhi - Agra 204kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, meet with your driver and proceed to Agra. Check in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy the “Mohabbat the Taj” show, a cultural performance depicting the story of the Taj Mahal. Overnight at the hotel

Day 9: Agra - Delhi (204kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, an iconic ivory-white marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Explore Agra Fort, the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, showcasing stunning Mughal architecture. Visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula, often referred to as the "Baby Taj," commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father. Later, drive back to Delhi and drop off at the airport for your onward flight.
