Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

On arrival at Kathmandu airport, meet with our office executive for assistance and transfer to your hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, with free time for personal activities or to explore nearby areas at your own pace. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a renowned Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the sacred Bagmati River. The temple is distinguished by its golden roof and silver doors and is a hub of spiritual activity. Proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, a massive stupa known for its mandala layout and surrounded by monasteries and prayer wheels. This site is a major center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal, with vibrant religious activities and rituals. In the afternoon, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic complex featuring the Museum, Kumari Ghar (residence of the Living Goddess), Hanuman Dhoka Palace, and several other ancient temples and courtyards that reflect Kathmandu's rich cultural heritage. Continue to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), located on a hilltop with panoramic views of Kathmandu. The stupa is adorned with Buddha's eyes, symbolizing the omnipresence of the Buddha, and is surrounded by numerous small shrines and statues. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Bhaktapur and Patan

Morning drive 14 km east to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its medieval architecture and historical temples. Key sites include the Lion Gate, the Palace of 55 Windows, the Bell of the Barking Dogs, Batsala Temple, Nyatapola Temple, and a replica of Pashupatinath Temple. The square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflecting the grandeur of the Malla period. In the afternoon, visit Patan (Lalitpur), often called the "City of Beauty" for its exquisite temples and vibrant artisan culture. Explore Patan Durbar Square, known for its richly carved wooden windows and stone sculptures, Krishna Temple, and Hiranyavarna Mahavihar (Golden Temple), famous for its golden facade and intricate carvings. Return to Kathmandu for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Kathmandu Departure

Transfer to Kathmandu airport for your outbound flight, concluding your exploration of the city’s cultural and historical landmarks.
