Itinerary

Day 1: Ahmedabad - Dholavira (385kms)

Pick up from your hotel or Ahmedabad airport and start the drive to Dholavira. Visit Modhera Sun Temple, an 11th-century marvel dedicated to the solar deity Surya, featuring exquisite carvings of deities and celestial figures, illustrating the grandeur of the Chaulukya dynasty's architecture. Continue to Rani ki Vav, an intricately designed stepwell from the 11th century built by Queen Udayamati, renowned for its elaborate sculptures, which include depictions of Hindu gods and mythical figures, and its advanced water management system. Proceed to Panchasara Jain Temple, established by King Vanraj Chavada around VS 802.
