Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu (B)

On arrival at Kathmandu airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, start with a walking tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic plaza surrounded by ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards. Observe traditional architecture and vibrant local life. Continue through Asan and Indrachowk markets, where you’ll experience the hustle and bustle of local commerce, with shops selling everything from spices to textiles. Explore Thamel, a lively district known for its narrow streets lined with shops selling curios, handicrafts, trekking gear, and dining options. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and local cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage site Tour (B)

After breakfast, begin a guided tour of Kathmandu Valley. Start with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Witness the sacred rituals and ceremonies performed by devotees. Journey up to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), perched on a hilltop. Admire panoramic views of Kathmandu and explore the chaotic jumble of Buddhist and Hindu iconography, including colorful prayer flags and ancient statues. Drive to Patan, known as the city of arts, and explore its rich collection of temples, palaces, and courtyards. Enjoy some free time to browse local galleries, shops, and cafes. On the return trip, visit Bodhnath (Boudha), Asia’s largest chorten. Observe the daily rituals of Tibetan Buddhism as pilgrims circumambulate the stupa. Explore the surrounding lanes filled with monasteries and workshops producing traditional Buddhist artifacts. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly to Pokhara and Trek Kimche to Ghandruk (B, L,D)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a 20-minute flight to Pokhara, enjoying aerial views of the Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival, transfer to the trailhead and begin trekking to Ghandruk village (1990m). The trek takes less than 3 hours with a 350m ascent through lush subtropical landscapes. Ghandruk is a traditional Gurung village known for its stunning mountain views and rich cultural heritage. Explore the village and interact with the local community. Overnight in a comfortable lodge with an attached bathroom.

Day 4: Trek to Tadapani (B, L,D)

Spend the morning exploring Ghandruk village, visiting local sites and enjoying the scenic views. Begin the trek through dense forests of rhododendron and magnolia trees. The trek takes about 3-4 hours to reach Tadapani (2700m), with beautiful views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The lodge in Tadapani does not have attached bathrooms; shared facilities are located outside. Relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 5: Trek Tadapani to Ghorepani (B, L,D)

Depart from Tadapani and start the trek, which involves several ascents and descents. The trail passes through picturesque villages and terraced fields. Reach Ghorepani (2874m) after 3-5 hours of trekking, which includes a 710m ascent and a 550m descent. Enjoy the stunning mountain vistas along the way. Arrive in the afternoon with time to visit Poon Hill if desired, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 6: Poon Hill & Trek to Ulleri – Hile (Trek End) & drive to Pokhara (B, L)

Early in the morning, hike to Poon Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, with golden light illuminating the snow-capped peaks. Descend to Ulleri (1350m) in 4-6 hours, passing through charming villages and terraced fields. Enjoy the scenic views and fresh mountain air. At the end of the trek, transfer to a vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Relax and unwind in the tranquil valley. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 7: Full day in Pokhara (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Pokhara, surrounded by lush green hills and majestic snow-capped peaks. Visit key attractions such as Phewa Lake, where you can take a boat ride and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. Explore Davis Falls, a unique waterfall that disappears underground, and the International Mountain Museum. Relax in the serene ambiance of Pokhara, enjoying its natural beauty and laid-back atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: In Chitwan National Park (B)

After breakfast, drive through the southern foothills to Chitwan National Park, located in the Terai plains. Check into your resort and enjoy the lush, tropical surroundings. Participate in a range of activities such as a village tour, an ox-cart ride, and a slide presentation about the park. Experience a jungle safari by elephant or jeep, and a canoe trip on the Rapti River. Explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers, and visit the elephant breeding center and Gharial farm. Overnight at the resort.

Day 9: In Chitwan National Park (B)

Enjoy a full day of jungle activities. Engage in additional safaris, nature walks, and birdwatching to discover more of Chitwan’s rich biodiversity. Participate in cultural activities and explore the local flora and fauna. Overnight at the resor

Day 10: Fly Chitwan to Kathmandu (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Bharatpur airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to relax or explore additional sites of interest in Kathmandu. Visit local markets, cafes, or historical landmarks. Overnight at the hotel

Day 11: Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your departure flight to your next destination.
