Day 1: Arrive Mumbai

Day 2: Mumbai

Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to Elephanta Caves (Monday closed): Ancient rock-cut caves on Elephanta Island, featuring impressive sculptures of Hindu deities, primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva, and showcasing intricate Indian rock-cut art and architecture. Excursion to visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple: One of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, known for its unique lingam with three faces embodying Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The temple is set against the picturesque backdrop of the Brahmagiri hills. Day 4: Nashik - Aurangabad (170kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Aurangabad, en route visit Ellora Caves: A UNESCO World Heritage Site with 34 rock-cut monasteries and temples representing Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain faiths, dating from 600 to 1000 AD. The Kailasa temple, carved out of a single rock, is a highlight. Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple: One of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva, known for its stunning architecture and spiritual significance. The temple features a five-tier shikara adorned with intricate carvings. Daulatabad Fort: A medieval fortification known for its robust structure and historical importance, featuring a unique defense system and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After sightseeing, drive to Aurangabad, check in and overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Aurangabad

Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion to Ajanta Caves: A UNESCO World Heritage Site housing 30 rock-cut caves with ancient Buddhist murals and sculptures dating from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE. The caves depict the Jataka tales and the life of Buddha. Drive back to Aurangabad and visit Bibi ka Maqbara: A mausoleum built by Azam Shah in memory of his mother, resembling the Taj Mahal in design and often called the "Taj of the Deccan."
