On arrival at Kathmandu airport, meet with our office executive, who will assist with the transfer to your hotel. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City, including a visit to the Swayambhunath Temple. Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is a revered Buddhist stupa perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and a chance to witness the daily rituals and vibrant prayer flags that surround this ancient site. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This sacred site is a major pilgrimage destination known for its intricate pagoda-style architecture and lively cremation ghats. Proceed to Bodhnath Stupa, one of the largest and most important stupas in the world. The stupa’s massive mandala and four pairs of eyes symbolize the Buddha’s omnipresence, and its surroundings are lined with Tibetan monasteries and prayer wheels. In the afternoon, explore Patan City, which is famed for its rich cultural heritage, ancient temples, and intricate woodwork. Visit the Tibetan Handicraft Center, where you can observe and purchase traditional Tibetan crafts and textiles. Return to the hotel for the night.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Bhaktapur, known as "the city of devotees." Bhaktapur is celebrated for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including the impressive Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and its traditional Newari culture. Key sites include the Lion Gate, the 55-Window Palace, and the Vatsala Temple. Continue your journey to Nagarkot, a popular hill station situated at an elevation of 2,195 meters. Check in at your resort and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas, which include spectacular sunrise and sunset vistas. On clear mornings, you may catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest. Overnight at the resort.
Wake early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, with the snow-capped mountains glowing in the morning light. After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time to relax or explore the serene surroundings of Nagarkot. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight from Kathmandu.
