Next enjoy lion safari in Sasan Gir National Park & make an excursion to ancient fortified city Junagadh. Continue to Diu a port town once ruled by Portuguese with historic fort & churches. Visit one of the largest temple complexes at Palitana & archaeological remains of a Harappa Port-Town at Lothal.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad

On arrival at Ahmedabad airport assistance & transfer to hotel (hotel check in/ out time 12pm). Rest time free. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Ahmedabad

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Hatheesing Jain Temple, Bhadra Fort, Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Sabarmati Ashram, Kite Museum, Vechaar Utensils Museum & Adalaj Stepwell. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Ahmedabad - Dasada (260kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Dasada via visiting Modhera Sun Temple, Rani ki Vav step well & Panchasara Jain Temple. Continue drive to Dasada check in at hotel. Lunch, dinner and o/n at resort.

Day 4: Dasada - Rajkot (160kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning safari in Little Rann of Kutch a unique landscapes of its kind in the entire world. Drive to Rajkot check in at hotel. Later visit Jubilee Garden which house monuments of colonial time. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Rajkot - Dwarka (225kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Dwarka check in at hotel. Later visit Dwarkadhish temple dedicated to the god Krishna & Nageshwar Temple one of the 12 jyothirlingas. Rest time free to relax on the beach. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Dwarka - Somnath (230kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Somnath, enroute visit Porbandar the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi. Continue drive to Somnath and check in at hotel. Later visit Somnath Temple, Paanch Pandav Caves & Sun Mandir. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: Somnath - Sasan Gir (45kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Sasan Gir National Park and check in at resort. Gypsy safari in Gir Wildlife Sanctuary the only place in the world, outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Gir is also one of the finest bird sanctuaries. Lunch, dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 8: Sasan Gir

Breakfast at hotel. Morning Jeep safari in National Park. Later excursion to visit Junagadh an ancient fortified city at the foot of the temple-studded Girnar Hill where Ashoka inscribed 14 edicts on a huge boulder. Drive back to Sasan Gir. Lunch, dinner & o/n at resort.

Day 9: Sasan Gir - Diu (100kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Diu check in at hotel. Later visit Diu Fort. Also visit old town which has old mansions belonging to rich Portuguese and Indian merchants. O/n at hotel.

Day 10: Diu - Bhavnagar (225kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bhavnagar via visiting Palitana Temples (865 temples can be reached by climbing 3950 steps spanning 3.5km up the Shatrunjaya Hills). Arrive Bhavnagar check in at hotel. Visit Gandhi Smriti, Barton Library & Museum. O/n at hotel.

Day 11: Bhavnagar - Ahmedabad (175kms)

Breakfast at hotel.Drive to Ahmedabad enroute visit archaeological remains of a Harappa Port-Town of Indus Valley Civilization at Lothal. Continue drive to Ahmedabad and drop off at airport.
