Explore The Exotic Himalayan Cities 11-day tour will begin in Delhi. Explore the historical monuments then head to Shimla a farmer British colonial town. Further deep in Himalaya drive to Manali and explore the Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. Then drive to Dharamsala the Buddhist capital in exile outside Tibet in the beautiful surrounding of Dhauladhar hills. From hear head to Amritsar the spiritual capital of Sikh. At the end, experienced traveling in Shatabdi train.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport assistance & transfer to hotel (hotel check in/ out time 12pm). Later visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk & Khari Baoli Spice Market on cycle Rickshaw, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar & Lotus Temple. Also drive pass President House, Parliament & India Gate. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Shimla (364kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Shimla initially normal followed by the curvy mountain road. We provide necessary stoppage for lunch and tea on route. Arrive Shimla check in at hotel and Rest time free to relax. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Shimla

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Shimla. Visit The Ridge is a wide open street located on the side of Shimla Mall Road. The Christ Church second oldest church in north India a neo-gothic architecture. Jakhoo Temple an ancient site dedicated to monkey god Hanuman. State museum an abode to excellent paintings, handicrafts, textiles and stone carvings. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Shimla - Manali (257kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Manali, enroute visit Roerich Art Gallery at Naggar. On arrival check in at hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Manali

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Rohtang Pass a high mountain pass at an elevation 3980 m on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. Drive back & rest time to visit The Mall. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Manali

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Hidimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village and hot water spring, Tibetan monastery the Himalayan Nyingmapa Gompa & Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa. Also visit Old Manali. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: Manali - Dharamshala (230kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Dharamshala the hill town bestowed by the natural serene beauty and the holistic presence of Buddhist culture. Arrive and check in at hotel Rest time free to relax. O/n at hotel.

Day 8: Dharamshala

Breakfast at hotel. Visit McLeodganj home to most of the Tibetan exiles. Tsuglagkhang Temple, Bhagsunath Temple, Bhagsunath waterfall, Dal Lake, Church of St. John in the Wilderness and local market. O/n at hotel.

Day 9: Dharamshala - Amritsar (210kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Amritsar check in at hotel. Later visit Wagah border to attend Beating Retreat Ceremony, a 30-minute display of military camaraderie and showmanship. O/n at hotel.

Day 10: Amritsar - Delhi (Train No. 12032, AMRITSAR SHTBDI, 1650/ 2315)

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Amritsar visit Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Gobindgarh Fort & Rickshaw ride walking in old market. Later transfer to railway station to board satabdi train for Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 11: Delhi - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule Departure transfer to airport.
