Overview

The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rain forests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Port Blair

On arrival at Port Blair airport assistance & transfer to hotel. Later visit Corbyns Cove beach. Evening attend Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.
O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Port Blair - Neil Island (by scheduled ferry)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the jetty to board ferry to Neil Island. On arrival transfer to hotel check in at hotel. Later visit Laxmanpur Beach and Bharatpur. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Neil Island

Breakfast at hotel. Day free & easy to relax on the beach. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Neil Island - Havelock (by scheduled ferry)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the jetty to board board boat for Havelock. On arrival transfer to hotel check in at hotel. Rest time to relax and unwind on the beach. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Havelock

Breakfast at hotel. Sharp 7am ensure you are ready as the boat will leave at 8.30am for Elephant Beach. Embark on the most memorable trip for blue shallow waters the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. Its also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 metre. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. NOTE: (1) The trip may changed to light house subject to weather conditions and visibility. (2) Havelock Island Boat Owners Association is providing complimentary snorkelling activity at Elephant beach for 5 minutes. However activity will be subject to operational rules of the Havelock Island. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Havelock

Breakfast at hotel. Day free & easy to relax on the beach. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: Havelock - Port Blair (by scheduled ferry)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Jetty to board ferry for Port Blair. On arrival transfer to hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 8: Port Blair

Breakfast at hotel. Sharp 9am depart from Water Sports complex in a boat to see under water marine life and varieties of corals at North Bay. After North Bay (Snorkeling & Glass Bottom boat at extra cost), proceed to Ross Island (Wednesday Closed), the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. all in dilapidated condition. Evening back to hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 9: Port Blair - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule Departure transfer to airport.
